Mercedes-Benz Places is the automaker's first North American branded real estate development, a 67-story, 2.5-million-square-foot mixed-use tower by JDS Development Group at Southside Park in Miami's Brickell financial district. Designed by SHoP Architects around the Mercedes-Benz "sensual purity" design language as a stack of sculpted cubic volumes, it combines 791 condominium residences with a 174-key hotel, office space, ground-floor retail and restaurants, and a restored public park at its base. The project ranks among the largest single developments in Brickell, pairing branded-residence services with a full mixed-use podium rather than a standalone condominium program.
