Citadel's new home, the Americas' gateway

Miami added more than 36,000 residents between 2020 and 2025, up about 8%. Finance and tech led: Citadel moved its global headquarters here from Chicago and is building a 54-story tower in Brickell, Microsoft and Thoma Bravo took space at 830 Brickell, and Amazon leased more than 75,000 square feet in Wynwood.

Office vacancy is the lowest of any major U.S. market, per Yardi Matrix, and Miami International ranks second in the country for international passengers. Add 28.3 million visitors a year and no state income tax, and the towers rising downtown are the homes that follow the jobs.
