About the project

The New AS Roma Stadium, known as the Stadio della Roma, is a proposed 60,605-seat football stadium in Rome's Pietralata district, designed by Populous as the long-sought owned home of A.S. Roma. The roughly 1 billion euro project sets the arena within a 27-hectare masterplan devoting nearly 15 hectares to public parkland, plazas, and pedestrian space, and features one of Europe's largest single curved stands alongside a club museum and retail. Positioned beside Roma Tiburtina's high-speed rail and the Quintiliani Metro stop, it is planned as a transit-anchored civic destination as much as a matchday venue.
