The Royal Diriyah Equestrian & Polo Club is the sporting centrepiece of Wadi Safar, a roughly 14,720-acre luxury resort and residential district set among the golden cliffs and valley floors west of Diriyah, outside Riyadh. Conceived around Saudi Arabia's deep-rooted horsemanship traditions, the club brings together championship polo fields, an equestrian arena, extensive stabling and training facilities, and a members' clubhouse with dining, event and spectator space. It sits within a wider Wadi Safar collection that includes a Greg Norman-designed championship golf course and a cluster of ultra-luxury hotels and branded villas, and is being built under one of the largest single construction contracts awarded across the Diriyah masterplan, delivered by a joint venture of Urbacon Saudi and Al Bawani. The setting pairs the sport's formal traditions with the dramatic desert topography of the wadi, positioning the club as a year-round social and competitive destination.
