Six Senses Beijing

Six Senses Beijing is a low-rise, courtyard-style wellness retreat planned for the Haidian District of Beijing, China, within the historic Liulangzhuang area beside the Three Hills and Five Gardens cultural landscape near the Summer Palace, on land once planted with the imperial rice paddies that supplied the Qing court. Operated by Six Senses, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, under a hotel management agreement with Beijing Zhongguancun Avenue Construction & Development Group as part of the renewal of Liulangzhuang, the property reinterprets traditional siheyuan courtyard homes across two connected sites, weaving 75 rooms and suites together with private gardens, lotus ponds and hutong-style pathways. A boat pier links the arrival lobby and lounge to amenities set directly on the water, and light-filled pavilions house the restaurants. Guests access Six Senses' signature wellness programming, including personalized screenings, biohacking experiences, Sleep With Six Senses, an Earth Lab and an Alchemy Bar, while a two-story residence reached by boat or private drive is reserved for private events. It will be the brand's second property in Greater China after Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain.
