St. Regis Bahia Mar

The St. Regis Resort and Residences, Bahia Mar is a roughly $2 billion redevelopment of the historic 40-acre Bahia Mar marina site at 801 Seabreeze Boulevard on Fort Lauderdale Beach, developed by Related Group, Tate Capital and Rok Acquisitions in partnership with Marriott International. Master planned by Arquitectonica with interiors by Tara Bernerd & Partners, the Monaco-inspired district is phased around two 23-story residential towers holding 160 St. Regis branded condominiums and a taller resort tower carrying a 197-key St. Regis hotel beneath a collection of furnished resort residences, with two further condo towers planned in a later phase. Residences run three and four bedrooms from about 2,600 to 3,550 square feet plus penthouses, and each tower carries roughly 17,000 square feet of private amenities backed by the brand's signature butler service. The ground plane is the ambition: about 88,000 square feet of waterfront commercial space for chef-driven restaurants and upscale retail, a public park, a 25-foot-wide pedestrian promenade along the Intracoastal Waterway, a private beach club fronting roughly 2,000 linear feet of Atlantic beachfront, and an exclusive megayacht marina with slips built to accommodate vessels up to 350 feet. The site sits directly across from Fort Lauderdale Beach and remains the longtime home of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, giving the masterplan a civic and marine-industry role well beyond its residential program.
