Las Olas headquarters and a cruise record

Fort Lauderdale added about 9,600 residents between 2020 and 2025, to roughly 192,000. Downtown has drawn headquarters: West Marine came from California, Techtronic Industries put its U.S. headquarters on Las Olas Boulevard, Future Tech Enterprise moved its executive office from New York, and Germany's Primepulse chose 333 Las Olas Way for its U.S. base.

Class A office rents downtown rose 9.7% in 2025 after trophy towers changed hands, per CBRE. Port Everglades, the world's third-busiest cruise homeport, set a record with 4.77 million cruise passengers, and Florida has no state income tax.
