The Alton Miami Beach

The Alton is a planned 14-story, 184-unit mixed-use building on a 1.4-acre assemblage at 1656-1680 Alton Road, at the gateway of Alton Road and the Lincoln Road shopping district in Miami Beach. Developed by the Kassin family's Infinity Collective and designed by New York's PBDW Architects, the project blends residences over lifestyle retail and office space, with amenities including a rooftop pool and a padel court. The building is bound by a 30-year covenant prohibiting short-term rentals and hotel use, positioning it as long-term residential rather than condo-hotel product. It rises on the site where Michael Shvo once planned a Foster + Partners office building before losing the assemblage through foreclosure, and advances under the proposed Alton City Center Overlay rezoning.
