The Cape Town EDITION

The Cape Town EDITION is Marriott International's first EDITION hotel in Africa, developed with V&A Waterfront Holdings at 7 East Pier Road on the V&A Waterfront, at the edge of the planned Granger Bay development. Shanghai-based Neri&Hu designed the hotel and residences with local architecture and design firm StudioMAS as a long, low sawtooth-roofed building facing the harbour, with a sculptural Drum at arrival and hand-laid brickwork and artisanal masonry in the social spaces. It holds 142 rooms and suites and six private residences, with a rooftop pool and rooftop bar, a Punch Room, a spa, a fitness center and meeting and event space, and views of the Atlantic Ocean, the superyacht marina, the City Bowl, Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill.
