Its faceted facade draws on Najdi architecture, and inside it would hold roughly 2 million square metres of floor space for retail, culture, hospitality, homes and offices arranged around a central spiral tower wrapped in immersive digital projections, with Falcon's Creative Group signed to develop its immersive experiences. Excavation of more than 14 million cubic metres and piling are complete, but above-ground work was reported paused for a feasibility and financing review, and New Murabba has since re-tendered Mukaab contracts.
