The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Savannah, Downtown

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Savannah, Downtown is a 168-key luxury hotel in Savannah's Historic District, converting the 1911 Savannah Bank and Trust building, downtown's original "Savannah Skyscraper" and still the city's tallest, on Johnson Square at 2 East Bryan Street. Developed by TMGOC Ventures with architecture by Studio Mc+G Architecture and interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the roughly 190,000-square-foot adaptive reuse stitches together two adjacent office buildings across 15 stories, with Cleveland Construction as general contractor. The hotel is programmed with a signature restaurant, a lobby bar and cafe, a members-only club, a rooftop pool, bar and terrace looking out over the historic squares, a full-service spa and 24-hour wellness center, and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, plus a collection of branded residences in the adjoining building at 14 East Bryan Street.
