The St. Regis Queenstown is a new-build luxury hotel on a prominent corner of Man and Brecon Streets, set on the slope above Queenstown's town centre with sightlines across Lake Wakatipu to The Remarkables mountain range. Developed in partnership with PHC Queenstown Limited, it brings the St. Regis brand to New Zealand for the first time and is Marriott International's first property in the resort town. The hotel holds 145 guest rooms and suites, with the brand's signature service rituals — the butler service and the evening champagne sabrage among them — alongside The Drawing Room, a St. Regis Bar and an all-day dining venue. Wellness is a substantial part of the programme: the St. Regis Spa includes a hydrothermal facilities zone and a relaxation and wellness lounge, complemented by an indoor heated pool and fitness centre. The site places guests within walking distance of the gondola, the waterfront and the town's dining quarter, positioning the hotel as a year-round base for both alpine winters and lake summers.
