TRUNK (HOTEL) Dogenzaka is a luxury boutique hotel taking shape in the Dogenzaka 2-chome South redevelopment, an eight-tenths-of-a-hectare block reshaping the slope above Shibuya Station in Tokyo. The eleven-storey, roughly 60-metre hotel building sits alongside a 155-metre, 30-storey office tower, together delivering about 87,100 square metres of new floor space linked directly to the Keio Inokashira Line concourse. The hotel carries roughly 120 to 130 guest rooms and leans into rooftop life: one of the largest rooftop pools in the area, a rooftop restaurant and bar looking out over the Shibuya scramble, and a spa built around wellness programming. At street level the scheme opens an 850-square-metre plaza and a 50-metre greenway stitching Dogenzaka 1-chome to 2-chome, giving one of Tokyo's most congested nightlife slopes a piece of genuine public realm. It extends the TRUNK philosophy of socialising hospitality into Shibuya's most contested address.
