Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island has officially opened, welcoming first guests to the eastern edge of Shura Island as the latest resort to debut within The Red Sea destination.

Set at a secluded point surrounded by water on three sides, the resort introduces 149 accommodations alongside 31 Resort Residences, each designed to open fully to the outdoors with direct views across the Red Sea. The project was developed through a 50-50 joint venture between Red Sea Global and Kingdom Holding Company.
Architecture across Shura Island was led by Foster + Partners under the island’s Coral Bloom masterplan, with forms shaped by the movement of coral reefs and the surrounding marine landscape. Interiors for the Four Seasons private residences and Shura Links Golf Clubhouse were designed by Goddard Littlefair.
Dining spans several distinct concepts across the property, including Sea Green for all-day dining and plant-forward menus, Al Forn serving Levantine cuisine, and Spiaggia Restaurant and Pool focused on Italian fare in an open-air setting overlooking the water.
The resort also expands family and leisure offerings on Shura Island with water sports programming, children’s and teens’ clubs, and access to the destination’s growing lineup of lifestyle amenities. Guests are positioned near Shura Links, Saudi Arabia’s first island golf course, alongside the island’s marina, retail district, and beaches.
Like the wider Red Sea destination, the property operates entirely on renewable energy and is supported by advanced water and waste systems aligned with Red Sea Global’s regenerative tourism model. The resort joins a growing collection of hotels across The Red Sea, with additional openings on Shura Island planned in the coming months.
