Hilton and Reuben Brothers have announced plans to transform the former W South Beach into the Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach, marking the brand's debut in the market. The landmark property will undergo a full renovation ahead of the planned relaunch in winter 2027.

At 2201 Collins Avenue, the property occupies one of Miami Beach's most desirable beachfront addresses, with direct beach access and views of the Atlantic and the skyline. It sits within the luxury hotel corridor, near the district's dining, nightlife and cultural institutions.

Avenue Interior Design will lead the interiors of the 20-story property, including 348 suites among the largest in the area, each with a balcony and ocean views.

The redesign will introduce Peacock Alley, the brand's signature bar, a new dining program, a spa and fitness center, and a 48,000-square-foot pool deck with private cabanas.

The property joins a global Waldorf Astoria portfolio of 40 hotels, including the forthcoming Waldorf Astoria Miami, set to open downtown in 2028. The signing follows the partnership's recent investment in the historic Waldorf Astoria London, Admiralty Arch, and adds to Hilton's Florida presence of more than 520 properties.
