Arena Club

Arena Club is a members-only racquet, fitness and wellness club occupying 75,000 square feet at 1804 Chestnut Street on Chattanooga's Southside, on the site that previously housed Chattanooga Brewing Co. The club is built around 12 temperature-controlled indoor pickleball courts and two outdoor padel courts, the glass-walled racket sport that has spread from Europe into American private clubs. Two floors of strength and functional training sit alongside a golf simulator, physical therapy, and locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms. Membership carries 55 fitness classes a week, including Pilates, barre and yoga. The wellness program adds massage and facial treatments, infrared sauna and red light therapy. A resort-style outdoor pool ringed by cabanas and lounge seating, a seasonal bar and a 5,000 square foot open-air pavilion round out the campus, with dining and event space on site. The club is led by founder John Wise, who conceived it with attorney Gary Patrick after downtown Chattanooga lost the Sportsbarn fitness club in 2023.
