Autograph Collection Hotel South End Charlotte

White Lodging, the group behind the JW Marriott in Uptown Charlotte, is building a 295-room Autograph Collection hotel on a long-vacant lot at the corner of South Tryon and Bland Streets in South End. The tower, designed by Abeyta Architecture Studio with Corgan, stacks glassy guestroom volumes over a warm, wood-toned podium and rises roughly 292 feet. It is the first full-service lifestyle hotel in the neighborhood. A fifth-floor open-air pool deck anchors a wellness program with a public steam sauna, hot and cold plunge pools and a spa. A chef-driven restaurant and bar sit at street level alongside nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and parking is kept below grade so the base of the building stays open to the sidewalk along the Rail Trail corridor.
