Official WebsiteFort Lauderdale's new City Hall is a purpose-built civic complex approved to rise at 100 North Andrews Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale, on the site of the original City Hall that was permanently closed and demolished after historic April 2023 flooding left city offices scattered across temporary locations. On July 7, 2026, the city decided to move forward with FTL City Hall Partners, the developer group selected to design and build the new home, under a financing arrangement in which the city will pay roughly $475 million over 30 years. The decision followed an April 2026 pause, during which the city researched alternatives — including two existing office buildings that could have been retrofitted and the downtown federal courthouse (itself set to be replaced later in 2026) — before returning to its original plan with FTL City Hall Partners. The project is designed by Palma as design architect with PGAL as architect of record and Core & Stiles Construction on the design-build team, with a conceptual design emphasizing flood-resilient civic space that consolidates the city's dispersed departments, commission chambers, and public services under one roof.
