Hotel General Perón 27

BIG and Ortiz.León Arquitectos designed this five-star hotel for Ibervalles on Avenida del General Perón, where the AZCA business district meets the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in northern Madrid. It is a tear-down of the existing 13-storey office building on the site, replaced by a tower of 15 storeys above ground and six below. A curved glass facade wrapped in a double brass skin rises in rounded bays, and all 144 rooms face outward with wide views across the Madrid skyline toward the Sierra de Guadarrama. A rooftop with a glazed pavilion bar, a restaurant, a wellness area and event spaces complete the programme, and a landscaped forecourt opens onto the street. The operator is being chosen through a dedicated tender.
