House by Shigeru Ban

House by Shigeru Ban is a biophilic luxury condominium planned for 237 NE 54th Street in Miami's Upper Buena Vista neighborhood, adjacent to the Design District. Developed by Yakol Capital Partners, it is Pritzker Prize laureate Shigeru Ban's first residential commission in Florida and one of his largest projects in the United States. The building is organized around a central courtyard behind a cube-like facade of varying setbacks and terraces, with signature wood tree columns and water walls blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living. Planned amenities include a semi-Olympic lap pool, whirlpool spa, children's splash pad, indoor padel courts, shared kitchens and rooftop gathering spaces, with Italian design group Dexelance leading interiors and furnishings through its Binova, Davide Groppi and Meridiani brands. The roughly $500 million project sits within a federal Qualified Opportunity Zone on a 1.16-acre T5-O zoned site and has marketed availability through the EB-5 investor visa pathway.
