Midjourney Spa

Midjourney Spa is a wellness and health-imaging destination planned at 300 Grant Avenue, a block off Union Square in San Francisco, where AI company Midjourney has leased about 23,000 square feet across four floors on a 10-year term. Designed by Iceland's Basalt Architects, the studio behind the Blue Lagoon, with TLEE Spas + Wellness and San Francisco's Rapt Studio, the round-the-clock spa is imagined as a gold-toned bathhouse of curved surfaces, waterfalls and rippling amber light, running a thermal circuit of hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges and rest rooms alongside a gym, a live music room and space for communal tea. At its heart is a cluster of full-body cylindrical scanners built by Midjourney Medical, the company's healthcare division, using what it calls Ultrasonic CT: repeated, non-invasive underwater ultrasound scans assembled into a tomographic body model in about a minute, without radiation or a magnetic field. Fully funded by Midjourney and framed as wellness rather than diagnosis while regulatory approval is pursued, the Union Square location is the first in a planned global network of Midjourney Spas, serving as the test bed for guest experience, subscriptions and services.
