Candlestick Point

Candlestick Point is a 270-acre waterfront district taking shape on the San Francisco peninsula where Candlestick Park stood until 2015, in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood. Developed by FivePoint Holdings, the master plan lays out roughly 60 new city blocks holding more than 7,200 homes, up to 2.8 million square feet of commercial and innovation-district space, shops and restaurants, and about 100 acres of parks and open space opening onto newly public bay shoreline. At its center sits Candlestick Center, an innovation district whose design framework was drawn by Perkins&Will around a walkable network of paseos and a central promenade linking the commercial core to the residential blocks and the water. It is one of the largest urban redevelopment sites in California and, at full build, will add an entirely new shoreline neighborhood to the southeastern edge of San Francisco.
