Renderings and construction timeline released May 14, 2026Oracle's TDEC permit application sets an August 2026 construction start and a two-year build for the 863-foot, 16-foot-wide steel-mast and cable-supported span, landing at Taylor Street in Germantown's Neuhoff District on the west and River North Boulevard at Cowan Street on the east. Also corrected the canonical type, which read Park while the tag list carried only Travel.

About the project

The Oracle Pedestrian Bridge is an 863-foot bicycle and pedestrian span over the Cumberland River in Nashville, privately funded by Oracle as a public asset and the connective centerpiece of its East Bank campus commitment. Designed by Foster + Partners with bridge engineering by Schlaich Bergermann Partner, the firm behind many of the world's signature lightweight crossings, the 16-foot-wide cable-supported deck hangs from steel masts above the river. The bridge links Taylor Street in Germantown to Cowan Street and River North Boulevard on the East Bank, stitching Oracle's riverfront campus into downtown Nashville's greenway network alongside landscape work by Hawkins Partners.
