The Benson

A boutique, ground-up condominium on Manhattan's Upper East Side, The Benson brought just 15 classically inspired residences to Madison Avenue — the first new condo development on the famed avenue in more than two decades. Rising 21 stories to roughly 210 feet, the building is wrapped in hand-carved, hand-laid Indiana limestone reminiscent of the great historic apartment houses of the neighborhood. Residences span half-floor, full-floor, and duplex layouts in three- to seven-bedroom configurations, several with private outdoor space, and feature signature fireplaces with custom mantels anchoring expansive living rooms. The building has since sold out.
