The story so far

The First Cortina is a 76-key luxury hotel by The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts on Corso Italia, the main street of Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the UNESCO-listed Dolomites of Italy's Veneto region, at Corso Italia 209, set to finish in December 2026.

Designed by Studio Marincola Architects, the transformation of a historic hotel building on the Corso pairs warm larch, Dolomite stone and leather with a focus on conservation and wellbeing, and every room and suite opens onto a private balcony or terrace facing the peaks, up to the Jacuzzi suites and the Enrosadira Penthouse. It marks The Pavilions' European expansion into alpine luxury and wellness, with Velo for dining and afternoon tea at the heart of a new social address in the town that co-hosted the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
