The Oberoi, Mayfair marks the celebrated Indian luxury group Oberoi Hotels & Resorts' first hotel in the United Kingdom, set within Grosvenor's transformative South Molton development in the heart of Mayfair, at 40-46 Brook Street with 23 hotel keys, under way since November 2023 and set to finish in Late 2027.
Designed by Hopkins Architects, the wider scheme reweaves a cluster of blocks between Davies Street, Brook Street and South Molton Lane into a pedestrian-friendly mixed-use quarter of shops, restaurants, workspace and homes, anchored by a new luxury hotel beside the Bond Street Elizabeth line entrance. For Oberoi, the London debut brings the brand's renowned, deeply personal service and richly detailed interiors to one of the world's most prestigious retail and residential districts, with elegant guest rooms and suites, signature dining and wellness spaces woven into a sustainable, heritage-sensitive reinvention of the streetscape. It positions Oberoi at the center of Mayfair's luxury landscape, steps from Bond Street's flagship boutiques and the green expanses of Hyde Park and Grosvenor Square.
Contractor Toureen began scaffolding on Brook Street, South Molton Lane and Davies Mews in early June 2026 after the soft strip, moving into temporary works and basement underpinning over the summer.
