Tianfu Center, known locally as the Panda Tower, is a roughly 1,600-foot, 95-story supertall rising in the Tianfu New Area of Chengdu, China. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox for developer China Overseas Land and Investment, the mixed-use tower stacks office, hotel, and retail space and was scaled back from a taller original scheme to comply with China's height cap. On completion it is set to become the tallest building in Chengdu and across Southwestern China, its sculptural crown and civic-scaled base anchoring a new commercial district along Tianfu Avenue.
