Water Street Tampa Entertainment District

Strategic Property Partners (SPP) has revealed a new entertainment district at Water Street Tampa, formally entering the City of Tampa's development review process. Anchored by a 3,500-capacity live music and entertainment venue operated in partnership with Vinik Sports Group and a 250-key hotel, the district extends the Water Street Tampa model into entertainment-focused placemaking. The venue features a 2,800-person general admission floor, a 700-person mezzanine, 8,000+ sq ft of exterior terrace overlooking Channelside Drive, and a 6,000 sq ft VIP lounge, operating on an independent "open room" booking model. The integrated hotel adds a 12,000 sq ft amenity and pool deck with direct VIP connectivity to the venue. The district also includes roughly 80,000 sq ft of entertainment-driven retail and dining across two levels, more than 25,000 sq ft of activated public realm, a central plaza facing Benchmark International Arena, and approximately 1,000 parking spaces.
