About the project

Water Street Tampa's entertainment district is a later phase of Strategic Property Partners' master-planned downtown Tampa neighborhood, the joint venture backed by Jeff Vinik and Bill Gates's Cascade Investment. Designed by Gensler, the two-story district along Channelside Drive is anchored by a 3,500-capacity live-music venue operated with Vinik Sports Group, alongside roughly 80,000 square feet of dining, retail and hospitality, a 250-key hotel, and more than 25,000 square feet of activated public realm.
