11 SKIES is the retail, dining and entertainment centrepiece of SKYCITY, the commercial quarter being built alongside Hong Kong International Airport on Chek Lap Kok, and at roughly 3.8 million square feet it is the largest development of its kind in the territory. New World Development conceived it as a "retailtainment" destination rather than a conventional mall, pairing more than 800 shops and over 120 dining concepts with eight attractions billed as firsts for Hong Kong, among them Timeless Flight Hong Kong, a 4D motion-flying theatre projecting the city's skyline onto a borderless spherical screen, and the first KidZania in Greater China with some fifty role-play experiences for families. Three Grade A office buildings sit within the complex, aimed at financial, wealth management, healthcare and wellness tenants, giving the destination a weekday population alongside its visitor traffic. Footbridges connect it directly to the airport's Terminal 2 and to AsiaWorld-Expo, positioning it to capture both transit passengers and Greater Bay Area visitors arriving through the airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
