The WestK Performing Arts Centre is the third and largest performing arts venue in Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District, joining the Xiqu Centre and Freespace. It houses a 1,450-seat Grand Theatre, a 600-seat Medium Theatre and a 270-seat Studio Theatre, alongside Dancehouse, described as Hong Kong's first venue dedicated to dance. Eight dance and rehearsal studios, a large rehearsal hall that doubles as a performance space, and resident company offices sit within the same complex. UNStudio's design threads an internal walkway through the building, carrying visitors from the harbourfront through to Artist Square, and adds a roof garden, restaurants and a ticketing centre. With the centre open, the district's three venues together offer ten theatres and more than 4,500 seats.
