205 Montague Street is a 47-story residential skyscraper planned for the northwest corner of Montague Street and Cadman Plaza West in Brooklyn Heights, where demolition of the former six-story commercial building was completed in June 2026. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Jonathan Landau of Landau Properties, the roughly 672-foot tower will yield 136 homes — 90 rental apartments and 46 condominiums averaging about 2,100 square feet — atop a multistory podium covering the full 19,000-square-foot lot. The design rises with a rectangular massing marked by a cutout roughly a quarter of the way up, with slender northern and southern elevations carrying a series of curving balconies that grow larger toward the top, culminating in a multifaceted bulkhead. The roughly $500 million project will also include nearly 40,000 square feet of retail and a parking garage for more than 100 vehicles. The site previously housed a ten-story Italianate building that held the offices of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
