Orient Express Diriyah is an intimate 86-key ultra-luxury hotel and the marque's first property in the Middle East, rising in the Diriyah Gate district near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and developed by Diriyah Company. Designed by Aedas, the hotel occupies a prominent frontage along Diriyah's luxury retail street, arranged around three landscaped courtyards linked by a souq-inspired circulation spine, with pedestrian-scaled entrances and activated food and beverage frontages. Reviving the storied railway brand's narrative-driven, nomadic design language within a Najdi heritage setting beside the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hotel emphasises elemental wellbeing, romance and a sense of adventure, and anchors Accor and LVMH's revival of the Orient Express name in the Kingdom.
