About the project

The New SLC replaced a terminal complex built roughly 50 years ago for half of today's traffic. HOK designed the terminal, the Concourse A (South) and Concourse B (North) concourses and the Gateway Center, with roughly 4 million square feet of new facilities sized for up to 34 million annual passengers. Signature art includes The Canyon by Gordon Huether in the Gateway Center. The program was funded by federal grants and user fees rather than local tax dollars.
