About the project

Soren is the residential centerpiece of Domain Companies' mixed-use development at 370 South West Temple, at the corner of West Temple and 400 South in downtown Salt Lake City. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the 278-foot, 28-story tower will hold 367 apartments above roughly 6,400 square feet of retail, alongside a separate 129-foot, 10-story hotel of 209 rooms with a rooftop bar and ground-floor restaurant. Estimated costs run about $164 million for the tower and $109 million for the hotel. Excavation and site-preparation work got underway in February 2026, with more extensive excavation to follow pending permit approval; completion is anticipated in late 2028 or early 2029.
