The Ballad Hotel

The Ballad Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property listed as The Ballad Hotel Clearwater Downtown, rises at the corner of Cleveland Street and North Osceola Avenue on the former Harborview Center site, looking straight out over Coachman Park, the BayCare Sound amphitheater and Clearwater Harbor. Developed by The DeNunzio Group, designed by Behar + Peteranecz Architecture and to be operated by Maine Course Hospitality Group, the 10-story, roughly 230,000-square-foot building holds 158 guest rooms above about 21,000 square feet of street-level restaurants and shops along Osceola Avenue. The top floor is given over to a rooftop bar, restaurant and meeting rooms with views west across the harbor to Clearwater Beach, and an outdoor pool and a 169-space integrated garage round out the program. It is the hospitality anchor of the city's long-running effort to reconnect downtown to its waterfront.
