Ball Arena Renovation

Ball Arena opened in 1999 as the Pepsi Center and is home to the NBA's Denver Nuggets, the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and the NLL's Colorado Mammoth. Owner Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has announced a phased renovation estimated at $135 million that expands the East Atrium toward downtown Denver behind an expansive glass facade with new escalators and a team shop, widens entries, exits and concourses, upgrades point-of-sale technology, and adds three new premium clubs, including one with direct access to reserved 100-level seating. The work follows a separate renovation of the arena's Legacy and Signature suites and is phased to keep the venue operating, with completion targeted for the 2028-29 seasons. The arena anchors KSE's planned redevelopment of its surrounding 55-acre property into a district expected to include a hotel, a mid-size entertainment venue, a central park, shopping, dining, and residential and office towers.
