Hannamdong-4 Residences

Hannamdong-4 Residences, branded Raemian Glow Hills Hannam, is Samsung C&T's redevelopment of Hannam District 4 around Bogwang-dong 360 in Seoul's Yongsan district, a prime riverside site between the Han River and Namsan Mountain within the Hannam New Town. Replacing an aging low-rise neighborhood across a roughly 160,000-square-metre site, the approved plan calls for 35 buildings rising up to 22 storeys over seven basement levels, holding 2,331 homes including 350 rental units. Designed by UNStudio for Samsung C&T's Raemian brand, the scheme's river-facing O-shaped blocks carry a spiral facade of waterlily-inspired rotating modules that form a continuous green spine, while X- and L-shaped towers step down toward the mountain. A roughly 365-metre elevated eco-walkway threads year-round gardens and jogging tracks through the site, joined by some 33,000 square metres of new public parks that knit the development into its landscape. Blending premium residences with retail and community space, it is conceived as a benchmark for biophilic, design-led living in one of Seoul's most coveted ultra-prime addresses.
