Hannamdong-4 Residences is Samsung C&T's competition-winning entry into high-design residential development, a cluster of sculptural towers set on a prime riverside site between the Han River and Namsan Mountain in Seoul's Yongsan district. Designed by UNStudio, the scheme's river-facing O-shaped blocks carry a patented spiral facade of waterlily-inspired rotating modules that form a continuous green spine, while X- and L-shaped towers step down toward the mountain. A roughly 365-meter elevated eco-walkway threads year-round gardens and jogging tracks through the site, joined by a series of new public parks that knit the development into its landscape. Blending premium residences with retail and community space, it is conceived as a benchmark for biophilic, design-led living in one of Seoul's most coveted ultra-prime addresses.
