The Jacksonville Jaguars' "Stadium of the Future" is a comprehensive, more-than-$1.4-billion reinvention of the team's downtown Jacksonville home on the St. Johns River, delivered as a public-private partnership between the City of Jacksonville and the Jaguars. Designed by global sports architect HOK and built by a Hunt Construction–Barton Malow joint venture, the project reconstructs the open-air bowl beneath a signature shade canopy and a dramatic steel-truss roof structure engineered to cool the seating areas in Florida's climate. The phased renovation reshapes concourses, premium clubs and fan amenities while the team continues to play on site, transforming the aging venue into a modern, year-round entertainment destination capable of hosting marquee events. The Stadium of the Future is the centerpiece of a broader effort to anchor sports, tourism and development in downtown Jacksonville.
