LXR Hakone Gora

LXR Hakone Gora is planned as a nature-immersive onsen retreat in Momijidani, the maple valley on the slopes above Gora in Kanagawa Prefecture, and would mark both the first Hilton hotel in Hakone and the LXR brand's arrival in Japan's most established hot spring destination. The five-story property is planned to hold 94 guest rooms, a number of them with private outdoor onsen baths drawing the area's thermal waters, and a portion of the inventory is planned to be dog-friendly, an unusual provision at this tier. The Sankei Building and HASEKO Real Estate Development own and are developing the property under a branding and management agreement with Hilton, which positions the hotel around Hakone's onsen culture and the seasonal turn of the surrounding forest. The site sits a three-minute walk from Koen-Kami Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car line, placing the Hakone Open-Air Museum, the Hakone Museum of Art and Gora Park within easy reach, and roughly 90 minutes by rail from central Tokyo.
