About the project

The Tsukiji redevelopment spreads nine buildings across a waterfront super-block beside the Sumida River, organized around a large park and a landmark multipurpose arena seating around 50,000. The program layers luxury hospitality, MICE and banquet facilities, a life-sciences and commercial hub, a theater and boat-transport complex, and residential and office towers, all knitted together by extensive green space and a new water and rail gateway. Conceived as a global-facing cultural and events destination, it is positioned as a new face of central Tokyo on one of the city's most storied waterfront sites.
