Official Website1401 Brickell by Santander is a 50-story, roughly 1.6-million-square-foot office tower rising in the heart of Miami's Brickell financial district as the new U.S. regional headquarters for Banco Santander. Designed by Handel Architects with Bernardi & Peschard Arquitectura, the tower wraps its floor plates in an expressed exterior diagrid that carries both gravity and wind loads, freeing the interiors of columns for flexible, light-filled workplaces while trimming structural concrete by roughly a third. Seven levels of amenities layer retail, dining and wellness through the base, culminating in a sky-terrace restaurant that looks out over Brickell Avenue, and the building is engineered to rank among the most sustainable office towers in the world. Anchoring Santander's decades-long presence in the city, 1401 Brickell reinforces the Wall Street South migration reshaping downtown Miami's skyline.
