Latest press (Mar 2025) still describes a pre-development agreement with a 2028 opening. Four dining venues on the first and 19th floors frame views over St Paul's Cathedral and the Thames, alongside a full Spa at Mandarin Oriental with a 25-meter lap pool and heat and water experiences. The wider development, which knits together the historic railway arches running through the site, is designed to be the UK's first operationally fossil fuel-free major mixed-use scheme, giving the hotel a landmark position on Europe's largest cultural corridor.
