Newport Residences occupies levels 23 to 45 of Newport Plaza, a 215-metre, 45-storey mixed-use landmark by City Developments Limited on Anson Road, at the seam between Tanjong Pagar, the Central Business District and the future Greater Southern Waterfront. The tower is a full redevelopment of the site of the former Fuji Xerox Towers, which was demolished to clear the parcel, and is designed by Japanese architecture firm Nikken Sekkei. Its 246 residences are among the very few freehold homes available in the CBD, stacked high enough to hold panoramic views over the harbour and the southern islands. Below them, Newport Plaza layers a full vertical city into one address: food and beverage at street level, Grade A offices in Newport Tower across levels 2 to 9, and branded serviced apartments filling levels 10 to 22. The building carries Singapore's first BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certification for a residential building and for a mixed commercial development, pairing its luxury positioning with a genuinely low-energy envelope and systems.
