The Hari Singapore

The Hari Singapore is the third property for Harilela Hotels' Hari brand, following its London and Hong Kong flagships, and marks the marque's arrival in Southeast Asia. It is a full luxury repositioning of the existing Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre at 11 Cavenagh Road, a tear-down-free conversion in which the current hotel is reworked from the inside out rather than demolished, yielding 326 bedrooms in the finished property. The programme adds a rooftop pool, an executive lounge, new dining venues and wellness facilities, alongside the brand's signature revolving collection of contemporary artwork, which is rotated rather than fixed so returning guests encounter a different hang. Its position just off Orchard Road places it a short walk from Singapore's principal retail spine while sitting on a quieter residential street, the kind of half-step-removed address the Hari properties in Belgravia and Wan Chai have both favoured. The opening extends a wave of luxury conversions reshaping the Orchard precinct as older mid-market stock is traded up.
