The Palm Beach Gardens IcePlex is a two-story, roughly 123,000-square-foot indoor ice sports complex rising in Plant Drive Park at 10113 Plant Drive, between North Military Trail and Burns Road in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a 2-story building that broke ground in July 2025 and is set to finish in December 2026. Financed with $50M in June 2025.
Built by the nonprofit Palm Beach North Athletic Foundation under a public-private partnership and 40-year ground lease with the City of Palm Beach Gardens, and designed by JLG Architects, the roughly $40 million facility centers on two NHL-size ice rinks for youth and adult hockey, figure skating and public skating. The program adds a restaurant, a sports bar, a retail pro shop, training and academy space and sports medicine space, and hockey great Wayne Gretzky plans to host the Gretzky Hockey School there, giving northern Palm Beach County its first year-round home for ice sports.
Plant Drive Park's original deed limits it to a municipal, non-commercial public park with a reverter, but the city says the ice rink does not trigger it and construction continues while attorneys seek a release.
