Sarasota Square Apartments is a 355-residence rental community rising within the sweeping redevelopment of the former Sarasota Square Mall along South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota's Palmer Ranch corridor. Developed by Woodfield Development inside Torburn Partners' nearly 100-acre master plan, the five- and six-story community is designed by Charlan Brock Architects with Shelton Taylor interiors and Fort Myers-based Brooks & Freund as general contractor. Homes span one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging from roughly 768 to 1,626 square feet, woven into a walkable mixed-use district of retail, dining, and office space. The project anchors the residential phase of one of Sarasota County's most prominent commercial-corridor transformations.
