424 Church Street, Nashville. 30 floors and 318 hotel keys. Targeting Jul 2029.
424 Church Street is the conversion of the 30-story Fifth Third Center, one of downtown Nashville's most prominent office towers, into a two-brand Hilton hospitality address inside the Capitol Mall Redevelopment District. Rather than replacing the mid-1980s Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed tower, the plan repositions it with Nashville's HASTINGS Architecture. The lower floors become an LXR Hotels & Resorts luxury hotel, with Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare residences stacked above, each with its own amenity spaces, plus a ballroom. At street level a lobby bar, an all-day restaurant, retail and a coffee concept open onto a rebuilt Church Street plaza anchored by an outdoor bar, turning a quiet corporate forecourt into public space. It is one of several downtown Nashville office towers being reconsidered for hospitality use as the central business district's tenant base shifts.
