About the project

White Lodging plans a 36-story hotel tower of about 752 keys on a 0.61-acre former parking lot at the corner of 8th Avenue South and Demonbreun Street in SoBro, a block from Music City Center. HKS designed the tower with a canted facade along Demonbreun, with ballrooms and an exhibit hall on the lower levels and three levels of parking below ground. The Nashville Post has reported it will carry Marriott's Autograph Collection brand. Metro Planning approved the concept plan, and the tower needs bonus-height certification before building permits can be issued.
