About the project

Dubai Urban Tech District is a planned net-zero-carbon innovation quarter on the Dubai Creek waterfront in Al Jaddaf, developed and designed by Dubai-based sustainable-cities firm URB and billed as the largest urban tech district in the world. The roughly 140,000-square-metre campus is meant to host about 4,000 jobs in green urban technology, education and training, with conference and seminar venues, research and business-incubation space, venture capital offices and a dedicated Urban Tech Institute. The terraced, garden-covered buildings are designed to run on renewable energy and to offset the embodied carbon of their construction and operation, positioning the district as a hub for climate tech in the emirate.
