Harbourside Residences

Harbourside Residences is the residential centrepiece of Mirvac and Mitsubishi Estate's roughly $2 billion regeneration of the former Harbourside shopping centre on Sydney's Darling Harbour waterfront. Designed by Snohetta with Hassell after they won an international design excellence competition, and with First Nations design practice Djinjama shaping the cultural narrative, the 48 storey tower rises about 160 metres above a stepped podium whose terraces are planted with more than 100,000 plants. The 263 apartments run from one to four bedrooms and culminate in three sub-penthouses and three penthouses, with interiors by Bates Smart. Below, roughly 45,000 square metres of retail, dining and office space wraps a new waterfront promenade linking Pyrmont Bridge to the water's edge, alongside a 4,000 square metre conference and events centre and more than 10,000 square metres of public open space that includes a 3,500 square metre rooftop park. Residents sit at the heart of Darling Harbour's wider renewal, within walking distance of Pyrmont, Barangaroo and the Sydney CBD.
